The L528 Pleco (Ancistrus sp. "Rio Paraguay"), or Redspot/Red Honeycomb Bristlenose, is a small (10-12cm/4-5"), hardy catfish originating from the Rio Paraguay basin. Characterized by a rusty-red base with a dark honeycomb pattern, it is a popular, easy-to-breed, and peaceful aquarium addition that grazes on algae, biofilms, and driftwood.
